About ΔΦ

Delta Phi is the oldest continuous social fraternity. It was founded in 1827 in Schenectady, New York, as a secret society. Visit our history page to learn more.


Our Chapter

The Epsilon chapter of Delta Phi formed in 1845 as the first fraternity and the first student organization at Rutgers. There are currently 21 brothers and more than 1000 alumni. We can be found at 6 Union St, New Brunswick , Second house in on "Frat Row". Around Rutgers you may recognize our house as "St. Elmo’s Hall", or recognize our fraternity by our symbol, the Maltese cross:
